BINUS UNIVERSITY Partakes in The Second NUNI International Lecture SeriesBINUS UNIVERSITY and various members of its faculty have partaken in the second NUNI International Lecture Series on the topic of ‘Multi Perspectives in the New Normal, Culture and Habit’. The event featured renowned lecturers from BINUS UNIVERSITY alongside those from Atma Jaya University, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana, and Universitas Andalas.

NUNI or National University Network in Indonesia is an organization focused on improving the competitiveness of private and state universities in Indonesia. It is comprised of 21 public and private universities in Indonesia which have worked together for the past 9 years to concentrate on three main areas: student mobility, faculty/staff mobility, and research collaboration. The lecture series provides the opportunity for speakers from across the network’s faculty of international members to share their insights and viewpoints on key topics that are impacting students and the higher education sector in Indonesia today.

Taking place on Zoom due to social distancing measures, Michael Aaron Tuori BA, M. Eng from BINUS UNIVERSITY spoke to participants on the subject of ‘Covid-19: Employees, Organisation and Entrepreneurship in the New Normal’ while Sanjukta Choudhury Kaul, Ph.D. delivered a lecture on ‘People with Disabilities and the New Normal’ followed by Lea Simek, MA who gave a lecture on ‘Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Internationalisation of Higher Education’.

Following on from the success of the first NUNI International Lecture Series, the second incarnation provides students with further opportunities to gain a deeper understanding on topics that are shaping their present and future from international lecturers who also offer a unique perspective on Indonesia.
