Department of International Relations, BINUS UNIVERSITY, is pleased to announce the latest issue of Journal of ASEAN Studies (Vol. 2, No. 1). This latest issue of the journal, in collaboration with Indonesian Association of International Relations (AIHII), featured original contributions from Dr. Tirta Mursitama, Head of International Relations – BINUS UNIVERSITY with topics on “Indonesian Industrialization and the Changing of Southeast Asia Geopolitics”.

This issue of the journal also featured articles with topics of “Challenges against Xi Jinping: an ASEAN Perspective” written by Abdullah Dahana and Kelly Rosalin, and “An Industry without Industrialization: The Political Economy of The Failure of Indonesia’s Auto Industry” from Wan-ping Tai, Associate Professor of Cheng Shiu University, Taiwan among other articles on the topics.

The Journal of ASEAN Studies (JAS) is a peer-reviewed bi-annual journal that enriches understanding of the past, current, and future issues relevant to ASEAN and its circle of issues. The article addresses any research on theoretical and empirical questions about ASEAN. The topics addressed within the journal include: diplomacy, political economy, trade, national development, security, geopolitics, social change, transnational movement, environment, law, business and industry, and other various related sub-fields. Recently, the Journal of ASEAN Studies has been indexed by World Catalogue, the World’s Largest Library Catalog as well as by Indonesian Publication Index (formerly Portal Garuda Indonesian Publication Index).
