On Wednesday, August 6 2014, BINUS UNIVERSITY and PT. Erajaya Swasembada, Tbk signed partnership agreement to establish collaboration in the field of mobile application and technology. Partnership between BINUS and Erajaya Swasembada was initially developed last year, focusing on internship and recruitment. This year, BINUS developed another partnership with Erajaya on final project for students of Mobile Application & Technology (MAT) program, School of Computer Science. Under this collaboration, BINUS students will have the opportunity to develop mobile application both for Android and iOS platform under the guidance and direction from Erajaya team. At the end of the application development, students with the best applications will be rewarded by Erajaya with marketing campaign support that will be done by having the application embedded into Android mobile phones sold by Erafone and through promotion tools of iBox.

It also acquired PT Teletama Artha Mandiri (TAM) as well as iBox, a leading retail seller of Apple product in Indonesia. The company has successfully built and developed a nationwide distribution network of over 87 distribution points, forming partnerships with approximately 20,500 reseller partners and third parties to develop the principal brand outlets. Erajaya also continues to actively expand the retail point of sale through the addition of 120 retail outlets, which brings the Company a total of 399 retail outlets.
