The Nationwide University Network in Indonesia (NUNI) is a strategic collaboration among Indonesian universities, established to enhance academic excellence and global competitiveness. Driven by increasing international competition in education, NUNI aims to create significant value through the mobility of research, faculty, and students, fostering opportunities that individual institutions might not achieve independently.

NUNI operates on four core pillars of collaboration: student mobility, faculty mobility, and joint research and innovation. These programs are designed to enhance the academic competence of students and faculty members, elevate the reputation of NUNI member universities in the face of global competition, and ultimately ensure the sustainability of high-quality higher education in Indonesia. NUNI also supports the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program, providing a platform for students to interact with member universities and develop their ideas.

Founded by 21 leading declarator universities, including Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana, and Universitas Sebelas Maret, NUNI is committed to helping its members become world-class universities. NUNI’s organizational structure includes a Partnership Council that sets policies, an Executive Office that coordinates daily activities, Program Advisory Committees, and Liaison Officers at each university. The NUNI secretariat is located at BINUS University in Jakarta, serving as a vital platform for cooperation and promoting a unified approach to academic advancement in Indonesia.
