Jakarta, 30 September 2026 – With a vision to fostering and empowering society, BINUS University continues to expand its contributions to education, research, and innovation. This commitment was once again recognized in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027, where the university retained its position as Indonesia’s leading private university and was placed within the 1401-1600 band globally. 

THE evaluates universities across five key areas: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, Industry, and International Outlook. In this year’s assessment, we recorded our strongest performance in Industry with a score of 54.7, reflecting the strength of our collaborations with more than 2,200 industry partners. We also earned a score of 40.4 in International Outlook, highlighting our growing global engagement through international partnerships and cross-border learning opportunities. 

Meanwhile, our performance in Research Quality (34.6) and Research Environment (27.2) demonstrates continued progress in strengthening research excellence and fostering a culture of innovation and academic collaboration. Lastly for a Teaching score of 23.4, it reflects our ongoing efforts to enhance the learning experience through curriculum innovation and continuous academic development.
