Tangerang, 28 May— In the recent joint benchmarking study held at our Alam Sutera Campus, we welcomed academic leaders from 11 renowned universities across Jakarta, Tangerang, Bandung, Tegal, Yogyakarta, Kediri, dan Surabaya joined us to exchange insights, address shared challenges, and explore solutins for the advacement of higher education in Indonesia.

Dr. Nelly, S.Kom., M.M., BINUS University’s Rector, opened the forum by expressing her appreciation for collaboration among institutions to share the best practices and exchange ideas.  

“This gathering is our way to exchange knowledge and learn from each other’s journeys in tackling the rapid challenges facing education today. We are confident that the collaboration we build will significantly drive progress for both education and our communities in Indonesia,” she emphasized.

One of the most engaging topics of discussion centered around the expansion of international academic programs and the pursuit of global partnerships. As the landscape of higher education continues to evolve, participants stressed the urgency of building robust international linkages to ensure institutions remain globally competitive.

Delegates from Petra Christian University, Prasetiya Mulia University, and Cahaya Surya Institute of Technology emphasized the value of this forum as a platform for exchanging best practices and expressed a shared commitment among universities to work together in expanding our global network to advance Indonesia’s higher education by broadening educational perspectives, enhancing academic quality, and preparing students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.

Meanwhile, Oscar Karnalim, Dean at Maranatha Christian University’s Faculty of Intelligent Technology and Engineering, expressed his focus on campus expansion and online learning innovations.  

“We look forward to learning from BINUS’s experience, especially in handling the challenges and crafting strategies for successful online learning across multiple campuses,” he stated.

His remarks reflected a common goal among higher education institutions to adopt digital transformation, fostering innovation, enhancing collaboration, and promoting sustainable academic growth.
