Jakarta – BINUS University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Mitra Adiperkasa (MAP), marking a significant step forward. The partnership aims to better prepare our students and researchers for the global job market by integrating practical industry skills and research opportunities into our curriculum and academic programs.

At BINUS University, our strategic objective is to prepare two out of three of our graduates for roles in global companies or to become successful entrepreneurs. This goal is the driving force behind our continuous efforts to establish strong ties with industry leaders. The collaboration with MAP Retail Academy is a testament to this commitment, offering a diverse range of programs that bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs.

Our partnership with MAP is built on a solid foundation of previous collaborations. Since 2020, over 80 BINUS University students have interned at MAP, and we have hosted three guest lectures and focus group discussions which highlight our dedication to maintaining strong industry connections.

Upon completing the series of guest lectures and focus group discussions, we received insightful feedback from MAP Retail Manager, Mr. Faried Wenazh. He expressed that, “This class is just the start of a broader partnership between MAP and BINUS University. Mrs. Maria from BINUS University explained the material very clearly and provided a range of relevant case studies. We believe the skills learned will be directly applicable to our everyday work, especially in dealing with different stakeholders.”
