Jakarta – For the past 15 years, BINUS University and Macquarie University in Australia have cultivated a significant partnership to enhance academic excellence and global engagement.

As BINUS University continues to pursue its goal of expanding and advancing strategic partnerships with the Top 200 worldwide universities, leveraging Macquarie University’s strengths and expertise can provide international exposure and academic excellence for our students and faculty members, supported by the best facilities for their academic pursuits.

With Macquarie University ranked among the QS World University Rankings Top 200, this partnership has become a pivotal strategic partnership for BINUS University. This collaboration aligns seamlessly with BINUS University’s vision to be a world-class institution.

BINUS University representatives Led by Prof. Dr. Tirta Nugraha Mursitama, Ph.D., Vice-Rector of Collaboration and Global Engagement, met with Prof. S. Bruce Dowton, Vice Chancellor of Macquarie University (04/07), along with its delegations, reaffirmed both universities’ commitment to advancing joint initiatives and exploring new areas of collaboration at our Joseph Wibowo Center (JWC) Campus.

This partnership kicked off in 2008 with the signing of an agreement for joint graduate programs in business, management, and finance. By 2014, it had grown to include undergraduate programs, significantly enhancing our university’s global standing and enriching our educational offerings with double degrees, student exchanges, and study abroad programs.

Discussions focused on expanding the range of joint programs that align with emerging global trends and industry needs and faculty mobility programs for sharing expertise and best practices that will enrich both universities’ academic environments and research collaboration.
