Tangerang, 1 July 2026 – Asia-Pacific is becoming an increasingly influential force in global higher education, supported by advances in research, innovation, student mobility, and international collaboration. Amid this rapid development, universities are expected to equip graduates for the future while contributing to solutions that benefit society, industry, and national development.

These priorities define the focus of the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026, themed “Advancing Education for Purpose and Impact.” BINUS University officially began the journey toward the summit by hosting the Road to QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026 press conference at BINUS @Alam Sutera.

“As BINUS University marks its 45th anniversary, hosting the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026 is both an institutional milestone and an important opportunity for Indonesia. It enables us to highlight the growth, adaptability, and collaborative spirit of Indonesian higher education on the global stage,” remarked Stephen Wahyudi Santoso, President of BINUS Higher Education & Professional Services.

Indonesia will take center stage in the regional higher education conversation to host this summit. Scheduled for 3 to 5 November 2026 at the Bali International Convention Centre, we will welcome more than 1,000 delegates from various countries, bringing together university leaders, policymakers, government representatives, and industry professionals to discuss the future of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region.

The opportunity to host this international forum reflects the world’s growing interest in Indonesia’s role in advancing higher education across the Asia-Pacific region. Selected for its strong international profile and proven ability to host major global gatherings, Bali will provide an inspiring environment for education leaders to exchange insights, build connections, and explore collective responses to the future needs of students and society.
