Since 2024, our partnership with UPTM has grown steadily, marked by joint academic involvement such as speaking engagements in the seminar about “Role of AI in Social Co-Creation,” co-organizing the International Conference on Computer Science and Computational Intelligence (ICCSCI) with our School of Computer Science, and contributing as reviewers for the conference.

“The growing opportunities with UPTM have broaden our long-standing commitment to building strong academic and research ties with Malaysian universities through student mobility, academic exchange, and social impact programs that enrich international experiences for our students, faculty, and staff,” expressed Dr. Rini Setiowati, our Vice-Rector of Collaboration and Global Engagement.
As the demand for digital skills and interdisciplinary knowledge skyrockets in ASEAN, projected to reach $330 billion by 2025 according to the Google, Temasek, Bain e-Conomy SEA 2023 Report, these academic initiatives facilitate a dynamic exchange of ideas, integrate emerging technologies into our curricula, and align with industry trends, positioning our universities at the forefront of contemporary technology and applied education in the region to ensure they can fulfill the industry’s demand.
