Jakarta, 14 March 2025 — BINUS University and PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (“Danamon”) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration between higher education and the banking sector. The MoU aims to provide students with practical industry insights and a broader global perspective.

The collaboration strengthens our relationship with Danamon, which we have had since 2018 through the Global Learning System (GLS) initiative. It also showcases Danamon’s continued support for BINUS Business School (BBS), especially in the MM Blended Learning program launched in 2023. This sustained involvement highlights the bank’s vision to cultivate highly competent human resources while promoting an innovative culture within the broader financial and banking sectors.

“The partnership will also expand our collaboration to create pathways for our students through the internship program and other career development activities that will enhance their studies. Most importantly, the wealth of knowledge that Danamon can share with us, including the potential for academic collaboration, combined with our world-class resources, should benefit our students as they study and later join the workforce,” said Dr. Rini Setiowati, M.B.A. as our Vice Rector for Collaboration & Global Engagement.

The partnership promises to cultivate well-rounded graduates prepared to excel and innovate in a competitive job market. It also supports BINUS University’s strategic objective of having two out of three graduates able to work in multinational companies and shape a sustainable, globally minded community of learners and professionals.
