Jakarta, 13 March — BINUS University continues to rise in global academic excellence, securing recognition in the QS World University Rankings (WUR) by Subject 2025 for the broad subject of Social Science & Management while maintaining a strong standing in its two primary subjects of Computer Science & Information Systems and Business & Management Studies, and making remarkable strides in the newly ranked subjects of Petroleum Engineering and Economics & Econometrics.

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has ranked 1,758 institutions based on their performance across five broad subject areas: Arts and Humanities, Engineering and Technology, Life Sciences and Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences and Management, encompassing a total of 55 specific subjects.

Rising in global rankings, BINUS University’s Business & Management Studies program has advanced to the Top 301-350 worldwide, up from the Top 351-400, while securing fourth place nationally. This progress reinforces the Social Sciences & Management discipline, now placed in the Top 501-550 worldwide and among the Top 7 in Indonesia.

Breaking new ground, Petroleum Engineering makes a strong debut in the global rankings at Top 151-175 and secures the second position in Indonesia. Economics & Econometrics also achieves global recognition, ranking in the Top 551-700 and among Indonesia’s Top 10. Meanwhile, Computer Science & Information Systems maintains its stronghold in the Top 401-450 globally and holds its position as the second-best in the country.

Securing Top 500 positions across multiple subjects, BINUS University demonstrates its strong academic quality, as assessed by the QS World University Rankings (WUR) by Subject 2025. This achievement reflects excellence in academic reputation, employer reputation, research impact, faculty productivity, and international collaborations.
