Alam Sutera, 21 February – BINUS University has partnered with Odoo, a Software as a Service (SaaS) company from Belgium, through its School of Information Systems, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) curriculum and equip students with essential ERP skills for the evolving job market.

ERP systems are essential for modern businesses, streamlining operations such as inventory management, financial planning, and customer relationship management. By integrating ERP training into the curriculum, students will gain practical experience with ERP applications while enhancing their analytical and problem-solving skills 

Companies are now seeking graduates with ERP expertise, making this partnership an asset for students looking to secure employment in various industries, including IT, business, finance, and management.

“Many businesses prefer candidates who are already familiar with ERP systems. This collaboration ensures that our students are well-prepared to meet industry demands,” as stated by Dr. Rudy, S.Kom., M.M., Dean of the School of Information Systems at BINUS University. 

The university’s expertise in ERP systems, mainly through its collaboration with Odoo Software, enhances graduates’ employability.

This partnership supports the university’s goal, as two-thirds of graduates aspire to work in multinational companies or become entrepreneurs. Notably, Odoo serves as a case study for technology integration in the classroom, allowing students to efficiently log in and set up a trial database. This streamlined process enables immediate application of learned business concepts without extensive guidance.
