BINUS University and SeoulTech Expanding Collaborative Efforts in Research and Academic Exchange
Jakarta, 14 February — Over the past seven years, the collaboration between BINUS University and Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech), has opened doors for 19 students to gain global learning experiences in South Korea.
Earlier this week, SeoulTech President Prof. Kim Dong Hwan, Ph.D., along with his delegation, visited our Alam Sutera Campus to meet Dr. Nelly, S.Kom., M.M., our Rector and fellow Binusian leaders for a warm lunch and discussion on strengthen future collaborations by exploring new opportunities.
“Our partnership with SeoulTech, which began in 2017 and was renewed in February 2023, has successfully fostered mobility programs such as study abroad and short courses, enriching our students’ global exposure. We look forward to further expanding our collaboration through joint research and faculty development initiatives,” said Dr. Nelly.
Prof. Dong Hwan also highlighted the shared commitment between BINUS University and SeoulTech in advancing Science and Technology: “With our common goals, we are well-positioned to enhance research collaborations in engineering and expand academic exchange opportunities.”

To conclude, this meeting has not only deepened our focus on expanding collaborative efforts but has also underscored the significance of knowledge exchange as part of our identity as world-class universities. By understanding each other’s visions and missions, we can synchronize our efforts to make a greater societal impact.
