Jakarta, 8 January — Following the official partnership on 4 June 2024, BINUS University and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kepolisian (STIK) have worked hand in hand to implement collaborative programs on a regular basis. These efforts aim to deepen a strategic connection with a shared focus on education, innovation, and community development.

“Our collaboration with STIK exemplifies our dedication to merging advancements in technology with STIK’s profound expertise in national security, staying true to our mission of being a world-class institution that empowers society and supports nation-building,” emphasized Dr. Nelly, our Rector, during an interactive discussion with STIK’s leaders at our Anggrek Campus. 

As higher education institutions, we are committed to enhancing academic quality through strengthened partnerships and promoting collaboration in curriculum design, research, and publication.

“At STIK, we are entrusted with the responsibility of improving the quality of police personnel. We recognize that the younger generation grows in the digital era, which is essential for them to develop open-mindedness and digital literacy to become proficient police officers who excel in ensuring safety, protection, and service to the public,” noted Irjen Pol. Prof. Dr. Dadang Hartanto, Chairperson of STIK.

After hearing STIK’s strong trust in BINUS University’s role in this collaboration, Prof. Dr. Engkos Achmad Kuncoro, Vice-Rector for Academic Development, expressed his enthusiasm for helping develop AI-based course content tailored to STIK’s needs. “Our team, led by Prof. Dr. Sani Muhammad Isa, has developed the Fundamental AI course, which is now being offered to students in all of our departments,” he added.
