Jakarta, 20 November— BINUS University has ascended to 2nd place among ASEAN’s Top Private Universities in the AppliedHE Rankings 2025, marking a remarkable leap from 6th last year while maintaining its position as Indonesia’s leading private university for the fourth consecutive year.  

This year, AppliedHE expanded its evaluation to include more than 100 Southeast Asian institutions, up from around 80 universities. BINUS University ranked 2nd in ASEAN due to its excellence in teaching and learning, employability, research,  community engagement, internationalization, and institutional reputation.

This recognition acknowledges BINUS University’s continuous efforts in delivering education that complies with the standards and criteria of quality assessment outlined by AppliedHE,” stated Dr. Nelly, S.Kom., M.M., CSCA, BINUS University’s Rector.

We strive to ensure that two-thirds of our graduates secure positions in international firms or become entrepreneurs,” added Dr. Nelly.
