BINUS UNIVERSITY Makes Major Leap to 401-600 in Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2024
Jakarta, June 12 – BINUS University secures its position in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings for 2024, climbing to the 401-600 tier from its previous standing. Recognized among Indonesia’s top 10 universities out of 45 assessed, BINUS University joins 2,152 institutions from 125 countries, with a focus on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
THE Impact Rankings distinguishes itself by being the only global evaluation system that measures universities against the 17 United Nations (UN) SDGs. It evaluates institutions across four key dimensions: research, stewardship, outreach, and teaching, all intricately linked with the SDGs.
“The inclusion of BINUS University in this list marks a milestone in the execution of the Catur Dharma of Higher Education at BINUS University, in resonance with the United Nations’ Development Goals,” expressed by Dr. Nelly, S.Kom., M.M., CSCA, the Rector of BINUS University.
Since 2021, BINUS University has participated in THE University Impact Rankings and officially joined the SDSN (Sustainable Development Solutions Network) in January 2023.
